Sacred Face Open Ear

This is my set from Sacred Earth Open air in Black River Falls Wisconsin. It’s some seriously upbeat morning psytrance/full-on mixed with lots of fun stuff. Definitely not for the uber serious purist types, but it definitely got great reviews from everyone who was there.

Emergence of Daylight

This one is a compilation of the sets I played at Spring Fling, Light vs Dark, and The Hookah Bar. It begins with some pretty deep nighttime stuff and slowly warms up to become blissful and sunny. Definitely some of my best work to date.

Accelerating Evolution

I made this mix for “The Wednesday Walkdown”, a radio show basd outof Minneapolis, MN. It starts off slow and warps its way through just about every genre of EDM while maintaining a heavy focus on psytrance. Definitely not boring and I think it’s pretty alright.

Requiem for the World Bridge

This is my set from World Bridge at deerfields outside of Asheville, NC(thrown by Those People) I was asked to play dark psy, so I went with a slightly different interpretation and tried to make it tell an emotionally dark story. I used the “Requiem for a dream” soundtrack throughout and interspersed pop songs with vocals pertaining to the movies mental state at appropriate times. The mix starts off ecstatic and empowered and slowly declines into despair and insanity while touching on the love hate/slavery relationship with addiction.

Fruitbiscuit Rides Again

This is an experiment in playing more mainstream friendly music such as house and techno and mixing it with other forms of EDM and pop music. I think it worked out pretty well. 47 tracks, 70 min, 3 at a time 95% of the time. I think this would be highly appropriate for the club environment as well as the underground.
